Our holiday programmes offer a safe, friendly and stimulating environment for your child. We cater for children from New Entrants to Year 8, who are supervised by trained staff.

Holiday Programme hours are 7.30am – 6pm (note opening time is different to term time). 

BASC is school-owned and situated on the school grounds with access to the Turf, bike track and playgrounds. The holiday programme is structured with a choice of activities including games, crafts and sporting activities, or participating in baking, which are all ongoing during the day. Afternoon tea is provided daily. 

Children need to bring lunch, morning tea, sunblock and a hat, plus a change of clothes in hot weather as water fun activities will see them getting wet.  A warm jumper, waterproof jacket and suitable shoes are needed in cold weather.

Two separate programmes run for Year 0 to 3 and Year 4 to 8. Activities are based at relevant age levels but being in adjoining buildings, siblings can see each other if needed.              

Bookings are via Enrolmy.com. An invitation to book will be sent out to current BASC parents four weeks prior to it commencing, by email on Enrolmy.com. 

Those who want to enrol their child in the Holiday Programme only, will be invited the following week by Enrolmy.com (please check your Spam folder if you do not receive this).

**Families with 3 or more children from the same family will receive 10% discount on a full week’s booking. All children must be attending.

Further information

  • Please do your holiday programme booking as soon as possible as we fill fast. You have a time frame for payments which will be indicated upon booking.
  • However, once a booking has been made, any cancellation must be made in writing 15 working days in advance, otherwise full payment is required so please book carefully! 
  • Payments can be made by Automatic Payment, or Cash. Late payments will incur the additional 15% penalty. No payment no attendance.
  • Please make payments to ASB SHERWOOD PRIMARY BASC 12 – 3059 – 0469042 – 00, reference: your child’s name and H/P. 
  • Children dropped off before or collected after your booked time, will be charged an additional cost of $10.00 per 30 mins (minimum charge 30 minutes) This applies even if it is 5 minutes before or past the hour. After closing time a late collection fee applies at $15.00 for every 15 minutes late
  • All absences or early collections are charged at the hours you have booked in for, plus any trips i.e. your child is sick, or you decide to take a day’s leave. Changing to another day is not permitted. 
  • While you can see your term time booking while booking your holiday programme one, you cannot make any changes to it until we have opened that section.  
  • BASC is a Sherwood School Board owned facility. The Policies are the same as the schools and are available on School Docs. You can find the link to these on the school website.
  • BASC has operated since February 2000 when it was approved by the Child, Youth & Family Services. In 2010, BASC received the Quality Cloak of Assurance (Te Korowai Kouanga) Level 3 Excellence.
